Samsung is highly progressive when it comes to taking some significant steps towards providing a well-maintained health and well-being of an individual via the Galaxy Watches or Galaxy Ring, in particular. While the Korean company previously announced the integration of a virtual visit to a doctor, it’s already going live now in various states in the US.
Well, the Samsung Health app is a dedicated platform that offers a more connected experience to the users, while also providing tips and features that apparently lead to a healthier and well-managed lifestyle for the audience.
Meanwhile, the company is looking towards making a major shift in the technology of its Samsung Health app. As announced earlier, in partnership with HealthTap, a US-based virtual healthcare firm, Samsung is integrating a significant tool, where users will be able to get their hands on virtual doctors. Noticeably, Samsung has added an option to schedule and attend virtual doctor appointments and consultations via the Samsung Health app’s latest update. It’s important to note that the feature is currently available in all 50 states in the US, alongside Washington, DC.
At the same time, users will receive a prescription from their virtual physician or other key recommendations straight within the Samsung Health app, while also allowing users to schedule an urgent consultation with the doctor at any time during the day or week. Therefore, it appears that Samsung is aiming to bring the most helpful, quick, and convenient experience to the users at their fingertips.
Other than that, Samsung has also partnered with Xealth, aiming more hospitals and digital health solutions providers will become a part of the health initiative of Samsung’s health ecosystem, which leads to a more seamless experience in medical care and wellbeing.
