Samsung is now considering using the most advanced M14 OLED technology in all the models of the Galaxy S26 series, i.e., Base, Plus, and Ultra.
The Galaxy S26 series is rumored to launch sometime in March 2026; however, this launch timeline is not officially confirmed yet. The lineup is highly anticipated to include at least three models, which are as follows –
- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra
A new report claims that Samsung is looking forward to using its most advanced M14 OLED screen for the Galaxy S26 series with QHD resolution.
Previously, with the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung kept the QHD+ resolution screen limited to the premium variant. The Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra feature a QHD+ resolution display, while the Galaxy S26 (base) has an FHD+ display.
If the new report comes true, it means that the Galaxy S26 (base) will also feature the most advanced display technology. However, Samsung hasn’t released any official statement regarding this report yet; it remains to be seen what will happen next.
Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature the latest M14 OLED material. However, the same kind of rumors regarding the Galaxy S25 Ultra came into existence last year; that’s not the actual case since the last two generations of the series, including the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25, used M13 OLED materials.
