
Samsung is moving towards a significant step in making its SmartThings more convenient and connected at the same time, despite introducing a Modular Home Solution, its newest AI Home; the company just unveiled its latest 2nd-gen SmartThings Hub.
Well, for years, Samsung’s SmartThings has served millions of customers, providing a more improved and connected, secure and efficient lifestyle experience. Now, Samsung Electronics announced that it has brought down the Aeotec Smart Home Hub 2, which is more compact, advanced, and smarter to date.
The company elaborates that the next-gen Smart Home Hub 2 works exactly in the form of Samsung SmartThings Hub, which supports all the key smart home appliances that apparently allow users to have a more personalized AI Home experience, according to their mood and preferences.
At the same time, Jaeyeon Jung, the Executive vice President and Head of SmartThings ecosystem, said, “ With Smart Home Hub 2, we’re enabling more people to start and grow their AI Home experience with the speed and reliability of a dedicated hub, industry-leading Matter support, and of course the power and breadth of the SmartThings ecosystem”. Also, “We will continue working closely with partners to strengthen the SmartThings ecosystem and maintain our leadership in setting global smart home standards.”

Noticeably, the most prominent part of this latest Smart Home Hub 2 is that it is now smarter, Smaller, and faster. Other than that, the hub allows users to connect and control their Smart Home appliances, while also setting up certain necessities such as switching on or off the lights, tracking doors and windows, or adjusting the room’s temperature.
Further, the Smart Home Hub 2’s key features include a 70% faster CPU, double the RAM that ensures smoother performance, 50% smaller footprints for easier installation, and more.
Nevertheless, the newest Aeotec Smart Home Hub 2 is now available for purchase in the US and on Samsung’s official website, costing $199.99.
