A short glimpse of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro’s new design & features leaked via One UI 8.5

Samsung is already working on its next-generation wireless earphones, known as the Galaxy Buds 4 series; meanwhile, a new One UI 8.5 animation reveals the redesign and upcoming features of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation Galaxy Buds 4 series, which will include two models, as mentioned below –

  • Galaxy Buds 4 (code-named Handel)
  • Galaxy Buds 4 Pro (code-named Bach)

One of our reliable colleagues, Android Authority, revealed that it has found One UI 8.5 animations, showcasing the new design of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and also confirmed the upcoming features of the buds.

According to the One UI 8.5 animations, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro retain a stem-style design, sticking around, with notable refinements. The distinctive light bar on the stem is not appearing, though the pinch controls seem intact.

Galaxy Buds 4 Pro to have Head Gestures feature

The leaked One UI 8.5 code strings hint that Samsung is integrating a new feature called “Head Gestures” in the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, which will offer several capabilities, as follows –

  • Respond to calls, notifications, and more by nodding or shaking your head.
  • Hear notifications aloud or stop the reading.
  • Dismiss alarms, timers, Calendar alerts, and Reminder alerts.
  • Answer yes/no questions or end conversations with an AI assistant.
  • Hands-free control for when speaking or touching the phone isn’t possible.
