Samsung Electronics’s advanced research division appears to have enhanced its AI models even more and is looking forward to developing its own Agentic AI tools as part of its strategy for self-reliance in the AI industry.
Samsung is one of the leading brands in the AI industry, and now, to maintain its leading legacy, it is gearing up to introduce its own Agentic AI tools called “Agentic Builder.” A report from TheElec revealed that Samsung used its newer large language models (LLMs): Gauss 2.3, Gauss 2.3 Think, and Gauss O Flash, for the Agentic AI production tool.
Currently, Gauss is being used as a no-code, interface-based Agent Builder for in-house use and also to power a multi-modal information retrieval system codenamed ‘Sirius.’ This tool can be used to speedily develop business-critical AI agents by just merging the essential components, which are like building blocks of an agent.
Components of Samsung’s AI agents could include several things, as mentioned below –
- Input/Output windows, AI models, and ‘DoXA’ logic structures using a drag-and-drop interface.
In case you missed it, DoXA is Samsung’s internal document analysis engine, and adding this to an AI agent allows it to understand business context. The company has used Gauss’ multimodal nature to develop Sirius, which focuses on knowledge graph systems to overcome the limitations of conventional search methods, and is compatible with work through text, numbers, tables, images, and attachments.
Regarding Sirius, A Samsung Research Software Innovation Center official stated, “Sirius is currently being provided as a beta service for employees. It is mainly used for searching for product development-related knowledge or exploring specific technical tasks and information on those in charge.“
