Samsung drops the November 2025 Security Update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3

Samsung has finally concluded the One UI 8 rollout for its Galaxy devices and has already headed towards delivering the latest November 2025 security update for its models. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 also join the list, as the company is providing the update for the folding phones.

​Well, Samsung initiated the November 2025 security update with its budget models and thereafter followed by even more flagships and mid-tier devices in the series. Now, the update reaches its foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3, which have started receiving the update in several countries.

​Basically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 has been identified with the version numbers F926USQSEKYK1 and F711USQSFKYK1, as well as F926BXXSFJYK1 and F711BXXSGJYK1, respectively. It’s important to note that the update is currently available in South Korea, Europe, Asia, and the US. Also, the US-based Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 models are getting the update on carriers, including T-Mobile and MetroPCS.

​At the same time, the latest November 2025 security update is, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security, core functionality, and performance. It brings a handful of fixes that have been brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively, which apparently provide a secure user experience.

​Other than that, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior, and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a smoother, stable, and optimized experience for the users.
