Samsung Electronics maintained its dominance as the world’s number one TV maker in the third quarter of this year, leading the market with 29% market share.
Samsung has been one of the leading brands in the global TV market for over a decade and has been continuously working to maintain its dominance & stand strong against its rival brands, especially LG Electronics.
Meanwhile, a new report from a reliable blog revealed that, according to the latest figures from Omdia, Samsung leads the TV market in terms of both shipment and revenue in Q3 2025. The company secured a 29% market share, which is slightly increased from 28.6% last year.
On the rivalry side, LG saw a fall from 16.5% to 15.2%; however, despite the fall, it still holds a solid second place. While Chinese manufacturers TCL secured 13% market share and Hisense reached 10.9%.
However, in the flagship OLED TV segment, LG once again leads the market with 49.7% of the shipment market share and 45.4% of the revenue market share. Whereas Samsung is in the second position with 34.9% of the OLED revenue market share.
These metrics show that the Korean tech giant still holds the top position in the global TV market, and the key reason behind this achievement is its wide product portfolio and expansion strategy in the flagship segment, while LG continues to dominate the OLED segment.
