Samsung has released the latest One UI 8.5 software, which is powered by Android 16. While the newest version is being opened for the Galaxy S25 series via the One UI 8.5 beta program, the company has officially informed that the latest beta version is causing improper functioning of a few Good Lock apps.
After the hype created amongst the Galaxy audience regarding the latest One UI 8.5 version, Samsung finally pushed the latest One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series, which is currently available in the phase 1 countries, including South Korea, Germany, the US, and the UK. Later, the beta build will be expanded to India and Poland as the beginning of the second phase, when the company is all set to release the second beta in the phase 1 countries.
Meanwhile, the latest One UI 8.5 beta program has already taken a wider form, indicating that the Galaxy S25 series owners have already started testing the latest beta software in different parts. However, Samsung took it to the official Good Lock terrace in order to notify users about the problem that is occurring for some of the Good Lock apps with the ongoing One UI 8.5 beta.
Specifically, due to certain changes in the internal elements of some apps and the latest One UI 8.5 beta has several limitations for the Home Up and QuickStar apps alongside a few features of the LockStar and NotiStar apps may not function properly, as the company is currently preparing these Good Lock apps to adapt the new One UI 8.5 beta structure, while also assuring that this issue will be fixed as soon as possible and the relevant updates will be provided shortly.
At the same time, the company has further stated that the other Good Lock apps are still working perfectly fine with the latest One UI 8.5 beta.
