Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra spotted on IMDA certification

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to bring a new revolution in the Galaxy S-series lineup, and it has now appeared on the IMDA certification database.

​Under the hood, the Korean tech giant has been actively working on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, which will include at least three models, as mentioned below –

Samsung is supposed to launch this series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in early 2026; however, the exact launch timeline has yet to be released.

​Recently, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has been spotted on a 3C listing, which confirmed that it will support 60W fast charging. The company has shifted its focus to the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s mass production, while the base models, Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus, are still pending entering production.

​Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has now appeared on the IMDA certification with the dedicated model number ‘SM-S948B/DS. The model number hints that it is the Indian/International 5G variant of the device with dual SIM.

​A report says it is listed as a 5G phone with NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and UWB connectivity support. The listing also confirmed its arrival in the Singaporean market. Samsung will power the Galaxy S26 Ultra by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally.
