Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is confirmed to support 60W fast charging via 3C listing

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is now confirmed to support 60W charging, as it has been listed on the 3C certification, which revealed this battery charging upgrade.

​Under the hood, Samsung is actively working on its next-generation Galaxy S26 series, which will include three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Galaxy Unpacked event in early 2026; however, the exact launch timeline has yet to be revealed.

​Previously, a few leaks claimed that Samsung is considering offering a major battery charging upgrade, i.e., 60W, to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Recently, the company has launched its latest 60W fast charger, which was expected to be designed for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.    

​Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has now appeared on the 3C certification with the dedicated model number SM-S9480. The listing confirmed that the device will support up to 60W charging. According to the listing, the device supports 5.0V ⎓ 2.0A, 9.0V ⎓ 1.67A, 9.0V ⎓ 2.77A, 10.0V ⎓ 4.5A, 15.0V ⎓ 3.0A, and 20.0V ⎓ 3.0A. Here, 20.0V ⎓ 3.0A stands for the 60W super fast charging.

​This means that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 60W charging, which is a major upgrade since Samsung has been offering the highest 45W charging speed on its flagship smartphones. The device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset globally.
