Samsung Galaxy S26 is confirmed to run the latest One UI 8.5 software version, which is expected to bring a few exclusive AI features, including an AI notifications summary feature.

Last week, Samsung released the One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series in selected regions, including the US, UK, Korea, and Germany, and is expected to expand the update to more eligible countries by the end of this month.

According to the post, the recent beta update lacks a few notable AI tools, which will be introduced as Galaxy S26 exclusive AI features, and one of them is AI notification summaries. It is based on Samsung’s in-house Gauss AI model to offer a quick summary of all notifications you received in the past 24 hours.

However, the AI notifications summary appeared in the One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but the official beta version lacked this feature. Initially this feature was supposed to be introduced with the One UI 7.0 with the Galaxy S25. But this did not happen. It will be interesting to see whether the report comes true, and if so, then the company will extend this feature to older Galaxy devices.
