Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Z TriFold’s display replacement cost is as high as one can buy a new Galaxy S25 Ultra, which means one had to pay a huge amount.
Samsung announced that it will release the Galaxy Z TriFold for sale on December 12, initially in Korea. Later, it will expand availability in the US market in the first quarter of 2026, with more details to be shared later. As per the announcement, the company has opened the sale, but surprisingly, within a short time, the device sold out.
Now, a new report revealed a shocking fact about the Galaxy Z TriFold. According to the report, the outer display replacement of the device costs between KRW 1,37,000 and KRW 226,000, which is nearly $92 and $153. However, it is similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 price.
In case you are looking for the inner display replacement, it will cost between KRW 1,657,500 and KRW 1,834,500, which is between $1,122 and $1,242. This means that the inner display replacement of the device is insanely high.
Reportedly, the company is considering making 15 to 30 units of the device available for purchase at major Samsung stores in Korea, while 700 units of the device are available for purchase nationwide.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. The company has integrated great specifications, advanced features, a smarter camera, and various AI tools.
