
Samsung released the Galaxy Z TriFold for sale in South Korea today, and within a short time, it sold out, suggesting its success.
Last week, Samsung officially unveiled its awaited Galaxy Z TriFold device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and running Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. It is integrated with great specifications, advanced features, a smarter camera, and various AI tools.
Samsung has already confirmed that the device for sale on December 12, initially in Korea. Later, it will expand availability in the US market in the first quarter of 2026, with more details to be shared later.
As per the announcement, Samsung today, on December 12, pushed out the device for sale in Korea. One of the most surprising things is that, in no time, Samsung’s official sales website started showing a “Sold out” message and a thank-you note for buyers.
The website is now displaying, “Thank you for your support. We’ve sold out of stock. If you sign up for a restock notification, we’ll notify you when it’s back in stock.” Now, interested customers can sign up to receive a notification when the Galaxy Z TriFold becomes available again.
Korea is a major market in the foldable segment for Samsung, and within a short time, the Galaxy Z TriFold already sold out in this market, hinting at the immense success.
