Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Z TriFold has 15W wireless charging that supports the Qi standard of the Wireless Power Consortium, with an advanced wireless charging technology provided by Wits.
Earlier this month, Samsung launched its awaited multi-folding Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone, and a few days later, it pushed out the device for sale in the Korean market. Interestingly, the device sold out in no time. However, a recent report revealed that the company will reopen the sale on December 17.
Meanwhile, a new report from one of the reliable blogs, ETNews, revealed that Samsung collaborated with Wits for slim wireless charging technology to introduce with the Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone.
According to the report, Wits revealed that this convenient technology efficiently brings module thickness and specs optimized for the multi-fold device. Regarding this, Wits stated, “The adoption of our component from the initial model of a new form-factor device signifies the recognition of our technology’s completeness and stability.”
Notably, it’s not the first time that Wits has partnered with Samsung for the TriFold component supply, as it has already supplied charging solutions for a few Galaxy S series and Galaxy Z series smartphones.
In a few recent days, several Galaxy Z TriFold reports surfaced, including that it supports Samsung’s Second Screen feature, and its inner display replacement is insanely costly. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and runs Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. The company has integrated great specifications, advanced features, a smarter camera, and various AI tools.
