Samsung Display to supply OLED panels for Ferrari’s next-generation models

Samsung Display to deliver its OLED displays to Ferrari’s next-generation models, as the report says. This deal will be efficient for Samsung to strengthen its position in the market.

A new report revealed that Samsung Display is collaborating with Ferrari, under which the display company will supply its OLED panels to this iconic Italian luxury sports car manufacturer.

The advanced OLED technology will allow Ferrari to surpass the limitations of traditional automotive displays, which will offer a new creative space for unique display layouts.

According to the report, Samsung’s OLED panels will play a key role in the display systems of the future models, where design, digital experience, and personalization will be prioritized. One of the key reasons behind this collaboration is that Ferrari admired Samsung Display’s ability to realize impressive display designs and meet all the essential requirements for shape, slimness, weight, and flexibility.

Zin-U Pak, head of Samsung Display’s EMEA (Europe·Middle East·Africa) display business and vice president, stated that this collaboration will be a great chance for showcasing its technical leadership, as Ferrari is one of the leading brands in the most iconic high-performance sports car.

By equipping Samsung’s OLED panels, Ferrari can deliver more flexible bespoke displays and several other advanced capabilities. It will be interesting to see at what peak this collaboration will take Samsung and how beneficial it will be for the firm.
