Samsung just launched its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, and now it is looking forward to introducing the Galaxy S26 series in February next year.
The Korean tech giant has been working on its next-generation Galaxy S26 series, which will include at least three variants, as mentioned below –
- Galaxy S26
- Galaxy S26 Plus
- Galaxy S26 Ultra
Following the previous Galaxy S-series launches, the Galaxy S26 series is supposed to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event in late January 2026. However, it might not be the case this time, as a new report hints at the delay.
A new report from a reliable Korean outlet revealed that the company is considering holding the Galaxy S26 launch event in February in the US. However, the report hasn’t mentioned any specific launch date.
Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding the rumored delay in the Galaxy S26 launch; it remains to be seen whether the leaked report will come true. The base models of the lineup (Galaxy S26 + S26 Plus) will be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally.
