Samsung might kick off Galaxy S26 reservations as early as Wednesday, February 11, according to recent leaks. If the timeline holds, expect the official Unpacked invite to drop within the next 48 hours.
The preorder incentive this time? A free 60W charging adapter, per tipster Sanju Choudhary. It’s a practical choice given that the S26 Ultra supports 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging via Qi2-compatible cases. Not flashy, but genuinely useful.
What’s less clear is whether Samsung will continue offering free storage upgrades. That benefit has been a mainstay in previous launches, but rising component costs for DRAM, NAND, and processors may force Samsung to rethink its generosity. Earlier reports hinted the upgrade would remain, but nothing’s confirmed.

Pricing could sting in India
Indian buyers might face a price jump. The S26 Ultra is rumored to start at INR 1,40,000, an INR 11,000 increase over the S25 Ultra. Samsung may soften the blow with an upfront INR 10,000 discount and INR 3,000 cashback on Buds 3 or 4 Pro, but that still leaves a net hike.
Samsung typically opens reservations alongside Unpacked invitations in major markets including the US, Europe, and India. The pattern has held for years, so a Wednesday announcement would track with past behavior.
The Galaxy S26 series is slated to launch on February 25, with first sales beginning March 11. If you’re planning to grab one early, the next few days matter. Keep an eye out for that invite.
