In August 2022, the South Korean company welcomed the One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 beta for its latest flagship ‘S’ series smartphone, the Galaxy S22, in Germany, Korea, India, China, Poland, the UK, and the US.

A few days later, the Galaxy S21 series was included in this beta program for the above countries. And surprisingly, the One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy S20 has opened in Samsung’s home country.

The latest One UI 5.0 beta for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra can identify via One UI firmware version (last four digits) ZVJ2, and it requires a download of about 1.2 to 3GB depending on regions.

  • United States – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware version S90*USQU2ZVJ2 – Size 1.6GB.
  • Korea – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware version S90xNKSU2ZVJ2 – Size 1.5GB.
  • United Kingdom – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware Build S90*BXXU2ZVJ2 – 1.29GB.
  • India  – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware version S90*EXXU2ZVJ2 – Size 1.46GB.
  • Germany – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware Build S90*BXXU2ZVJ2 – 1.2GB.
  • Poland – One UI 5 Beta 4 Firmware Build S90*BXXU2ZVJ2 – 1.3GB.

The latest brings a large number of bug fixes regarding Gallery, vibrations, folders, backgrounds, S Pen (only for the Ultra, of course), Eraser object, widgets and more. The South Korean manufacturer removed the multi-user feature from the changelog.

The release of the stable version is therefore approaching, which could take place within a few weeks or may launch in SDC which held on October 12, 2022. The test program is currently available on other models, such as the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A52.
