Galaxy Z Fold 4 And Flip 4 Getting October 2022 Security Update In The US

Recently, Verizon, and T-Mobile have released updates for the Galaxy Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3, consisting of Android Security Patch Level: October 2022. Now the South Korean giant finally has started distributing the October 2022 security patch for its latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the US.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 carrier-locked & unlocked units receiving the October 2022 Android security patch on firmware version for carrier locked F936USQS1AVII and F721USQS1AVII. While the unlocked units are receiving the update on F936U1UEQS1AVII

The update is available for all carrier-locked and unlocked units of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the United States. However other countries should receive the new update shortly. The October 2022 security patch fixes more than 47 privacy and security vulnerabilities.

However, you can check for the update by going to Settings and then Software Update and tapping Download and Install if the update is available.
