New December 2022 firmware arrived for Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the US
After releasing the December 2022 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 in Europe, Samsung has now served the update to the US region; notably, the update is currently available for carrier-locked devices through the Comcast network. The update should be available on other networks in the next few days.
As per the information, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is listed in the category of monthly security updates, which means the device is eligible for regular monthly updates, and being Samsung’s flagship device, it always gets quick updates compared to other phones. The latest update carries a new firmware version for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 as F926USQS2EVK7.
The December 2022 update doesn’t bring any new features, but it includes approximately 90 patches which were added by Google and Samsung together. Moreover, it improves the inbuilt functions that enhance the overall performance and stability of the device.

- On your Galaxy devices, head into your settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on Software update.
- Tap Download and install.
- Wait for your device to check for updates.
- If a security update is available, you can hit Install now.
