Unlocked Galaxy A23 5G gets Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in the US

Samsung Galaxy A23 is the latest phone in the A series, it was launched in August this year, and the device comes with Android 12 pre-installed. As released recently now, the device is receiving its first Android OS update in the US as Android 13.

Currently, the update is available for the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy A23 5G device in the US. Users who own this device can identify the latest update by the firmware version number A236U1UEU1BVL1. It is also noticeable that the update brings a new security patch, but we are getting a month older security update instead of December 2022.

According to Samsung’s official changelog, the One UI 5.0 includes several new enhancements regarding the user interface; some new features are added under inbuilt apps, including a camera, Gallery, photo and video editor, and more.

The new One UI update also includes interesting customization tools which can be easily accessible through the lock screen. Additionally, it also includes some improvements for the existing features, including RAM Plus, Auto optimization, SOS, and more.
