Samsung Galaxy S10 updated to the latest January 2023 security patch

Samsung is continuing its commitment to keeping its flagship smartphones up to date with the latest security patches. According to the official Samsung updates page, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e have started receiving the January 2023 security patch in Europe. This update comes shortly after the devices received their December security update last month. For those unaware, these updates are particularly important for providing your device with the latest security fixes and improvements.

The January security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series is now rolling out in Europe. The update includes the latest security fixes from Google and Samsung. Over 50 Android OS vulnerabilities were marked as “High” in the January 2023 security patch changelog. Samsung also patched some issues with NFC, Secure Folder, and Samsung Knox.

As of now, the Galaxy S10 devices are getting the January 2023 update in Europe. Users can identify the latest update by the firmware version number G973FXXSGHWA3, G975FXXSGHWA3, and G970FXXSGHWA3 for Galaxy S10 general, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e, respectively.
