Let us inform you Qualcomm itself has stated on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s launch that it is 35% faster than the SD 8 Gen 2 chipset in terms of performance and 40% better in power efficiency, even after bearing the loss of one efficiency core. However, both of these SoCs have a CPU architecture of 64 bits and are octa-core processors, but still, they show a major change in their core configuration.

Notably, where S22’s chipset (Gen 1) has 1+3+4 cores in configuration, while the S23’s has 1+4+3 with an additional performance core, which will surely improve the Galaxy S23 series device’s performance. Additionally, the S22’s chipset’s primary core, Cortex-X2, is said to have a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz, but the S23’s Cortex-X3 performs better than the previous and gets a 3.2GHz peak clock speed.
