Samsung serves January 2023 update for Galaxy M31

Samsung is keeping up with its promise of rolling out regular security updates for its devices. Samsung has just rolled out the January 2023 security patch for its Galaxy M31 in India, which is available to download. This update includes a slew of performance improvements and bug fixes that should make your Galaxy M31 run smoothly. In addition to this, the latest security patch also improves system stability.

Galaxy M31 security patch of January 2023

The Galaxy M31 security patch is now available in India. The update includes a new security patch for the Exynos 9611 processor used in the Galaxy M31. The update also includes fixes for several vulnerabilities and bugs. The January 2023 security patch comes on firmware version M315FXXU3CWA2

The update includes the latest security fixes from Google and Samsung. Over 50 Android OS vulnerabilities were marked as “High” in the January 2023 security patch changelog. Samsung also patched some issues with NFC, Secure Folder, and Samsung Knox.

Samsung’s first One UI 5.1 app is already available for download

To install the update, go to Settings > Software updates and tap Download and install. The update is around 660MB in size and will take some time to download and install. After the installation is complete, your phone will be running the latest security patch.
