Samsung One UI 5.1 brings new features to the Gallery app
Samsung One UI 5.1 is officially available with Galaxy S23 series and the changelog of the One UI 5.1 is also available. We know that it will be a major update that brings several new features under the existing apps like Camera, AR Zone, widgets, Gallery and more.
New features are available in the Gallery app
As you know, the Gallery app is a Samsung stock app which gives a separate space for organising the Photos and videos together; it also allows you to sync your media to the cloud, so you can see them directly from the app itself. The Gallery app was the one which has grabbed some major changes with the One UI 5.0 update, and now with One UI 5.1, it will get some more new features. Let’s talk about them briefly:
Shared Family Album
Now you can easily share photos of your family with its self-analysing technology; you do not have to select a one-by-one photo of the member; it will help you to organise them and share the photos based on face recognition. It will provide the facility of to 6 people of the family.
Get information on photos or videos quickly
When you swipe up while viewing an image or video in your gallery, you can see at a glance when and where the image was taken, on what device, where it is stored, and more.
Processing improved
The back processing of images has been improved, and it is now able to remove shadows and reflections to make your photos look great. You can also remake GIFs for better resolution and clarity.
Change the location of the screenshot
Now you can save screenshots and screen recordings in a folder of your choice by setting it up through the advanced settings menu.
Search results are now more enhanced
With the One UI 5.1 update, the search results will be more powerful, as it will allow you to search for more than one person or item at the same time as well; as now you can search the people by just clicking on their faces.
