Samsung rolls out first software update for the Galaxy S23 Series [US]

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is the company’s latest line of high-end smartphones. It was released on February 1 and included the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. And alongside, the company introduced One UI 5.1 skin.

Samsung has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy S23 series in the United States on the Verizon network. The update includes January 2023 security patch, as well as various bug fixes and security enhancements. This marks an important step forward for Samsung as it looks to create a more unified experience for its customers across different regions and countries.

The update is currently available through Verizon’s official website and will soon be pushed out to devices through an over-the-air (OTA) update. Keep an eye out for the notification on your device, and be sure to back up your data before proceeding with the installation.

Installing the update is simple. First, make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Then, go to Settings > Software update > Download updates manually. Your phone will check for available updates and download them automatically. Once the download is complete, tap Install now. Your phone will restart and install the update.
