Samsung launches 5nm Exynos 1330 and 1380 processor: Aim to deliver enhanced user experience

The South Korean tech manufacturer Samsung has a strong hold over the Smartphone, Tablet, Display, Camera, and Microprocessor markets. Samsung has its own processor series- Exynos. Samsung’s Exynos is pretty well popular in the tech world; even Google Pixel’s Tensor SoC is also made by customizing Samsung’s Exynos. However, we recently got some new members in the Exynos series. Let’s take a look at them. 

Informatively, Samsung has recently launched two new processors– Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380. Let us inform you both of these are 5G processors and are based on 5nm technology. For a more convenient way to know them, we are providing their specifications below. 

Exynos 1380 Chipset

Let us inform you the newly-launched Exynos 1380 processor is a successor to Samsung’s previous Exynos 1280 SoC. It is an octa-core mobile processor which has been developed with 4 main and 4 sub CPU cores, on which Cortex-A78 with 2.4GHz clock speed is the main and Cortex-A55 with 2.0GHz clock speed is the sub-CPU core. The chipset has the Mali-G68 MP5 GPU in it. Its other specs are listed below.

Exynos 1330 Chipset

Samsung’s this new Exynos 1330 processor is also a 5G chipset which is based on 5nm technology as the Exynos 1380 SoC. It is also an octa-core mobile processor, but with 2 main and 6 sub CPU cores. The chipset has Cortex-A78 processors with 2.4GHz clock speed as the main and Cortex-A55 processors with 2.0GHz clock speed as the sub-CPU core. It also has the same Mali-G68 MP2 GPU in it. Nota bene, both of these new Exynos chipsets will lend an incredibly faster performance, which will help to enhance the device’s reliability. As per the reports, the Exynos 1380 SoC will power the Galaxy A54 5G device, and the Exynos 1330 chipset will be debuted with other lower-end Galaxy A series devices.
