Verizon pushes One UI 5.1 for Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A42 in the US

Samsung is rapidly distributing the One UI 5.1 to eligible Galaxy devices; it started the rollout session in the mid-Feb and expanded all over the world within some days; the Korean giant has updated almost every device with One UI 5.1 initially, now the company is focusing on making it available for each eligible devices to remaining countries.

Now the One UI 5.1 update is available for Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A42 5G in the US; the update is currently rolling out on the Verizon network, which means the locked variant of these devices will be eligible to install the latest update.

The One UI 5.1 update will be available for these devices with different software version numbers, G781VSQU7HWB2 and A426USQU4EWB3, for Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A42 5G, respectively. The update also brings the latest security patch in the form of February 2023, and it is part of general security maintenance of the device, which comes with different patches that fix a number of vulnerabilities.
