Rumour: Google Pixel Fold may be cheaper than the Samsung Z Fold 4 or Fold 5

As time going foldable devices are gaining popularity rapidly. The trend started with Samsung launching the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold devices, followed by others like Oppo and Techno; now, the Android developer Google is also ready to join this league. It is possible that the search engine giant will announce its Pixel Fold device in May 2023. This device is reported to be more affordable than Samsung’s foldable out there.

Notably, some reports suggested that Google’s Pixel Fold device will be least costlier than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 device. As per the well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, the Google Pixel Fold will cost between $1,300 and $1,500, which is nearly $500 less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4’s US price. The tipster also believes that Google should take promotional action because their competition is with the foldable market leader.

The Galaxy foldable has a 4,400 mAh battery, while the other hand, Pixel Fold intends to have a 5000 mAh battery. It is expected that Google will launch this device in the third quarter of this year, but the information isn’t officially confirmed yet. So, please accept it with a pinch of salt.
