Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 receives March 2023 update with several fixes in Australia, Asia, Latin America, and USA

Earlier yesterday, Samsung released the March 2023 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 in Europe, it was the first release in any region, and now the Korean giant is expanding it to more countries, including the US. Let’s discuss the update in detail.

March 2023 update enhance the security

As we said, the update brings a new security patch, and it has mainly focused on strengthening the overall security of the device. Samsung has recently taken a significant step towards addressing various security and privacy issues that are affecting its smartphone users. In a recent update, the tech giant resolved 40 CVE items as part of Google’s Android security bulletin and 23 SVEs for Galaxy One UI devices. These issues are related to Bluetooth, function driver, Galaxy Themes, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, and other One UI services.

The update is rolling out in several regions, including Asia, Latin America, and Australia. Users who own Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 can identify the latest update by its build version F711BXXS4EWB5 and F926BXXS3EWB5, respectively.

While the update is available in the US on some networks, including T-Mobile and Metro PCS for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, it can be identified by the firmware version number F711USQS4FWC1 and F926USQS3FWC1, respectively. 

On the other hand, the unlocked variant of Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 is receiving the March 2023 update with firmware version numbers F711U1UES3FWB3 and F926U1UES2FWB3 sequentially. 

Samsung Galaxy users can easily install the latest update by tapping on the notification, which will be available at the time of the new update, in case if you haven’t received the notification yet, wait for some time, or you can also check it manually by going to the settings then click on software update option and then tap on download and install.
