Samsung has kept its promise of providing timely security updates for its smartphones. The company has released the latest March 2023 security update for a handful of its devices. Now, it’s the turn of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G US variants to receive this update.

T-Mobile and Sprint Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G owners in the US, can now breathe a sigh of relief as the much-awaited March 2023 security update is finally available for their devices.

The latest security update brings a host of new features and improvements that are designed to enhance the security and overall performance of the device. In a recent update, Samsung resolved 40 CVE items as part of Google’s Android security bulletin and 23 SVEs for Galaxy One UI devices. These issues are related to Bluetooth, function driver, Galaxy Themes, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, and other One UI services.

The March 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra will now be updated with the latest firmware versions G981USQS3HWB6, G986USQS3HWB6, and G988USQS3HWB6 respectively. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has also received the update, which carries the firmware version F707USQS3HWC1.
