This score places it at the 84th position in the DxOMark ranking, which is behind Vivo X60 Pro 5G (Exynos) and Xiaomi 11T.

According to DXOMark’s testing, several aspects of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G’s camera impressed the testers. The device was noted for its good exposure and wide dynamic range in bright and indoor light, as well as its ability to capture details in landscapes and its reliable autofocus. However, some unconvincing aspects were highlighted in the testing. For example, the camera had some issues with focus errors in macro mode, scenes with moving elements, and artifacts in high-contrast scenes. The white balance was also noted to be unstable at times.
