Despite Samsung’s reputation for producing high-quality camera systems, the A54 5G’s camera still needs to deliver the results many had hoped for. The following results, relating to certain conditions (external, indoor, low light, and group shots), also confirm that the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is quite far from the best models in photography:

According to DXOMark’s testing, several aspects of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G’s camera impressed the testers. The device was noted for its good exposure and wide dynamic range in bright and indoor light, as well as its ability to capture details in landscapes and its reliable autofocus. However, some unconvincing aspects were highlighted in the testing. For example, the camera had some issues with focus errors in macro mode, scenes with moving elements, and artifacts in high-contrast scenes. The white balance was also noted to be unstable at times. These factors likely contributed to the device’s lower-than-expected DxOMark score.
