Samsung has rolled out the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M22, and this is the latest update that is available for Galaxy devices; all the devices which have grabbed the One UI 5.0 are eligible for it. Firstly, the company has served the update to the high-end Galaxy devices and now expanding it to the other remaining devices. Let’s know about the update in detail.

One UI 5.1 brings improvements and new features

As said earlier, the One UI 5.1 is the latest UI update of Samsung, which has introduced several new functionalities and improvements to the existing system-level apps, like Camera and Gallery – now you can create the shared family album, the image remastering has enhanced, info display has been revamped. Multitasking – now you can easily minimize and maximize an app window without going to the option, just dragons of the corner. In the split screen, you will see the most often-used apps. A new battery level widget has been introduced that indicates the battery of all the connected Galaxy devices. Now with the latest update, you will be able to change the location of screenshots as well as screen recordings.

The latest update is landing on the Brazilian units of Galaxy M22, users who own these devices can identify the latest update by the firmware version number M225FVXXU5DWB8. For information, the device has also grabbed the Maintenance mode with the previous update.

Samsung Galaxy M22 

The Galaxy M22 was launched back in 2021, and the device came with Android 11; later, the device received more Android updates sequentially, and currently, it is running on Android 13 based on One UI 5.1 after installing the latest update. Being the midrange, Samsung has only decided to give only two major updates, which means the device is now no longer eligible for further Android updates; however, it will get some more minor updates in the form of security patches.
