Samsung Moderator spoke about the Exynos flaws

Recently, one of Samsung’s moderators (community manager) has shared some words in the community about the Exynos’ flaws. The moderator said that they have taken measures against these 6 security flaws. Samsung has already rolled out patches for 5 of them, and for the remaining one, a patch will be provided soon in the month of April. The moderator shared their concern regarding their users and users’ security.

Besides, the moderator also suggested the users keep their devices up to date with the latest software so that their devices can get as much security as they can. You can see the complete statement below.

“Hello, We understand the concern of vulnerabilities. Samsung takes the safety of our customers very seriously. After determining 6 vulnerabilities that may potentially impact select Galaxy devices, of which none were ‘severe,’ Samsung released security patches for 5 of these in March. Another security patch will be released in April to address the remaining vulnerability. As always, we recommend that all users keep their devices updated with the latest software to ensure the highest level of protection possible.”

Samsung has introduced the May 2024 security patch update for several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy S22 series. Now, the latest development company has released the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 devices.

The May 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is coming in India with the firmware version number F946BXXS2CXE2. With the latest update, the company hasn’t added any new features, so you won’t get any significant features for the devices. We anticipate that the company will soon extend the update to additional regions.

The May 2024 security patch is one of the standard updates that doesn’t bring any additions to the software. In a nutshell, there are more than 50 fixes introduced by Google and Samsung to eradicate the issues that can harm the device’s security completely.

Moreover, as the second update arrives after the One UI 6.1 update, it may bring some resolutions to the issues that arrived with the major update. If you’re using the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in India, you can now take advantage of the latest security patch by installing it.

To install the latest update on your device, just go to the system settings, then tap on the software update menu, then select the download and install button. If you get the latest update, then tap on the download button.
