Samsung’s Galaxy S Ultra devices have the capability to outsmart every smartphone device available out there, including Apple’s iPhone. The most significant feature of these models is its quad-camera setup that never fails to amaze users. However, it seems that Samsung will break this quad-camera trend with its upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra device, which is said to have a triple camera setup. Let’s see what’s the matter.

Informatively, ever since the Galaxy S21 series was launched, the South Korean firm started to implement four cameras in its top-of-the-line Galaxy S Ultra models’ back. This quad-camera setup became a prominent feature of Samsung’s Galaxy S Ultra devices which in particular contains a primary image sensor, an ultrawide angle shooter, and two telephoto shooters with 3x and 10x zooming capabilities.

Samsung will ditch 3x zoom camera from Galaxy S24 Ultra

As per the reports, the top-notch model of the future Galaxy S24 flagship– the Galaxy S24 Ultra device will probably drop the 3x zoom telephoto sensor and shift to a triple camera setup instead of a quad-camera. However, it is unclear whether the company is planning for an alternative or not. If they plan to adopt one, they should follow in the footsteps of other manufacturers and return to a 5X periscope zoom camera.

Unfortunately, we haven’t received any information regarding the top-notch Galaxy S24 Ultra’s telephoto camera, but we do get a clue about its ultrawide sensor. As per the well-known tipster Revegnus, the future Galaxy S24 Ultra will have an ultrawide angle sensor with an aperture of F1.2 to 4.0. However, none of this information has been confirmed by the company. So, we suggest you accept them with a pinch of salt.
