Galaxy A53 and A54 receive April 2023 security update
Samsung has started rolling out the April 2023 security update for its two most popular midrange A series smartphones – Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A54 5G. The update brings in the latest security patch, which addresses over 60 security flaws that were discovered in the Galaxy phones, including some critical ones related to Exynos chips and modems.
The Galaxy A53 5G is receiving the update in Argentina, while the Galaxy A54 5G is getting it in Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia. The firmware version for the A53 is A536EXXS5CWD2
