Samsung has been keeping busy lately, releasing new updates for some of its popular models in the United States. Specifically, the tech giant has unveiled updates for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with newer security patches and more.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is receiving in the US on Verizon the April 2023 security patches we discovered yesterday, starting with T-Mobile. The firmware in the rollout is G990USQS6EWC3 and integrates, as we have seen, more than 60 fixes to vulnerabilities discovered in recent months, between those released by Google and those found by Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has been receiving April 2023 security patches for a week ago, but in the US for unlocked models. Strangely enough, the distribution touches on Verizon carriers. The firmware in the rollout is the A536VSQS6CWCF and covers some specific carriers. The changes are as described above: we have more than 60 vulnerabilities fixed, 4 of which are critical.
Samsung is also rolling out the April 2023 security patch for Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in the US. The firmware is the T227USQS5CWD1 and started from the Verizon network, along with fixes to more than 60 vulnerabilities, some of them critical. Of course, no additional features have been added
