Carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 gets Image Clipper feature in the US

Samsung has distributed many gifts to its various devices with the April 2023 security update; for instance, the company has brought a massive camera update for the Galaxy S23 devices. On the same base, the company has also expanded the Galaxy S23 exclusive feature – image clipper to older flagship devices. Now the update has reached the US.

April 2023 brings improvements for Gallery and Camera 

Samsung is now rolling out the second update of April 2023 and brings security update for the Galaxy S22 series. The update is available on unlocked variants of the device. According to the changelog, the update brings new improvements to Camera and Gallery functions; however, it doesn’t mention any feature specifically, while your device will also get an image clipper feature. Moreover, the update also improves the device’s overall security by fixing the vulnerabilities present in the Android OS and Galaxy devices.

Users who own Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra can identify the latest update by these firmware version numbers S901U1UEU2CWCE, S906U1UEU2CWCE and S908U1UEU2CWCE, respectively. The update is currently available on several networks, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, AT&T, C-Spire, Cricket Wireless, and Bluegrass Cellular. The remaining networks will get the same update in the next few days.
