Whenever any manufacturer unveils new software, the most challenging and important task that comes to the front is distribution strategy. Every manufacturer distributes any update or software to the respective devices in a specific order, particularly from their premium to mid-range to entry-level devices. If we are talking about software, how can Samsung’s upcoming One UI 6 be left behind? Let’s unwrap some info regarding it.
One UI 6.0: Brief Information
The 6th generation of Samsung’s User Interface- One UI will get the base of Android 14. All Android 14-supported Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets will get One UI 6.0’s layer on top of it. Let us tell you, previously, Samsung used to take almost 6 months (From the latest Android’s arrival) to launch the new version of its One UI, but now things have changed. Samsung became fast in terms of software update distribution.
As per Google, Android 14 will be available for AOSP only after its stable version touches the market. Firstly, the Android version will reach the platform stability landmark (sometime in July), then manufacturers will get the chance to build their respective UIs. As for Samsung, the next-gen One UI Beta will touch the market in August, followed by Beta 2/Beta3 and a stable version within 2 months.
Now the obvious question appears, in what order the eligible Galaxy devices will receive this new UI update? Now, there is no official confirmation or any criteria to determine this order, but we sure will get an idea through previous distribution programs. So, let’s know the order.
