Samsung extends One UI 5.1.1 update test to other Galaxy devices

Samsung launched a dedicated version of One UI- One UI x.1.1 for wide-screened Galaxy devices such as Galaxy Z Foldable devices and Galaxy Tablets. This software contains dedicated features which are specially designed for devices with wider screens. This year, Samsung will launch One UI 5.1.1 skin with its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 device. This version will be based on Android 13 or Android 13L (if Google launches). 

Informatively, Samsung has already started the upcoming One UI 5.1.1 software testing. Previously, only the soon-to-be-launched Galaxy Z Fold 5 device was spotted with the One UI 5.1.1 update on Samsung’s servers, but now the company has extended the testing to some previous devices as well. Recently, the popular tipster TarunVats shared a Tweet in which he revealed the testing firmware versions of One UI 5.1.1.

One UI 5.1.1’s testing reached other wide-screened Galaxy devices

As per the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 devices have recently been spotted on servers with firmware versions F936NKSU2DWDC and F721NKSU2DWDC, respectively. It shows that the company has started testing the One UI 5.1.1 update in its previous Galaxy foldable devices as well. However, these devices will receive this update only after Galaxy Z Fold 5

 and Z Flip 5’s launch, as this update will be unveiled with them.

Let us tell you, besides any other Galaxy device, the previous foldable devices are being tested with this new One UI version; one thing got clear, this One UI x.1.1 version will also follow the same pattern as before and only be launched for Galaxy Z foldable and Galaxy Tablet devices. Unfortunately, we haven’t got any clues regarding this new update’s novelties, but we sure will get some info in the coming time.
