Samsung is rapidly expanding the May 2023 security patch update to Galaxy devices, and it is currently available on many flagship devices, and several midrangers and foldables also received it. And the company has pushed the update to more smartphones.

The Korean giant is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G; it brings the latest form of security update as May 2023 security patch. It includes several improvements that enhance the overall security of the devices.

According to the information, the May 2023 security update includes over 70 security patches that fix the issues related to security vulnerabilities. In detail, the update includes different types of fixes for issues present in the Android OS and Galaxy devices.

The May 2023 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with firmware version numbers F711BXXS4EWD9 and F916BXXS2JWE1. The update is now rolling out in several countries, including Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago. The update will be available in more countries in the next few days.

The latest security update is now available for the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A52 5G smartphones. Users who own these devices can identify the latest update by these firmware version numbers A336MUBS4CWD4 and A526BXXS3EWD8, respectively.

Users who own these devices will get a Notification on their devices whenever a new update is available. Once you get the notification, tap on it, and when you have redirected to the software update menu, tap on the download menu. In case, if you didn’t receive the notification yet, you can also check the update manually by going to the system settings of your device.
