Samsung is gradually expanding the April 2023 security updates to the remaining devices, including Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy A71. These devices have already enjoyed this security update in several regions.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ get April 2023 security updates with version numbers N970FXXS8HWC5 and N975FXXS8HWC5, respectively. The update comes in a 250 MB software package.

The Galaxy Note 10 was launched back in 2019, and being the year-old device, Samsung has decreased the frequency of updates for the device; at present, the Galaxy Note 10 is enjoying quarterly security updates, but it is expected that the device will get two updates in a year.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A71 belongs to a biannual security update which means it is only eligible for getting a maximum of two minor updates per year. Currently, the device is receiving its first security update in the form of an April 2023 security patch. The update is rolling out with the firmware version A715FXXS9DWD1, which weighs 235MB.
