Rumors and talks about Android 14 ’s arrival can be seen all over the internet. Let us tell you Google has finally unveiled the 1st beta of the upcoming Android version- Android 14. However, it is still out of other manufacturers’ reach and is yet to be available for AOSP. Notably, Android 14 will be the base of various smartphone manufacturers’ next-gen UIs, including Samsung’s One UI 6.0. The upcoming OS/UI version will be full of surprises.

Informatively, Samsung will start working on One UI 6.0 software right after Google launches the stable Android 14 and lets the other manufacturers use it for AOSP. It may happen in July; consequently, we can expect One UI 6.0’s Beta testing to start around August. After the successful beta testing, the company will launch a stable version of its next-gen UI within two months. However, Samsung hasn’t provided any timeline yet.

Let us tell you; it is obvious that the latest Galaxy S23 flagship members will be the first ones to be blessed with it. Afterward, it will reach other Galaxy devices in the order of latest to older and premium to mid-range to entry-level. If you are wondering when your Galaxy device will receive it, we are providing an estimated timeline in this article that we have prepared by looking at the previous One UI 5.0’s update distribution program.

One UI 6.0: When will your Galaxy device get it?

First, Samsung will launch One UI 6.0’s Beta update for the Galaxy S23 series devices in some limited regions. It may happen sometime around August or September. It is possible that Samsung will launch a handful of beta versions as the Galaxy S22 series devices also went through a total of five One UI 5.0 Beta updates. Hence, Samsung may do the same with One UI 6.0 as well.

During the beta testing in the Galaxy S23 series, the company will extend the Beta update to some other Galaxy devices as well. It includes the Galaxy foldable devices (upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 and others), the previous Galaxy S22 flagship members, and maybe Galaxy A53 devices as well (because Galaxy A52 got the One UI 5.0 Beta previously). It may happen at the end of September (most probably).

Samsung testing One UI 6.0 (Android 14) Beta for Galaxy S23 Series

At last, it is possible for Samsung to conclude its testing period and launch the first public Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S23 devices. There is a high chance of the first public update to launch in October. The Galaxy S22 series will get the upcoming One UI 6.0 update in November, maybe. Afterward, the other devices that have participated in this new UI’s beta program will get this update before the end of the year.

In short, the Android 14-based One UI 6.0’s beta version will arrive in August or September. Then, the company will roll out the new UI’s stable update in October and continue to deliver it one by one to all eligible Galaxy devices at the earliest. By the rise of the next year, 2024, most of the Galaxy devices will already have it. However, it is not official, and the company hasn’t shared a word, so accept this info with a pinch of salt.
