The Big G Google has recently unveiled the Developer Preview of the upcoming version of its smartwatch Operating System WearOS. It is obvious that the newer OS will bring a lot of modifications, advancements, and novelties with it. Recently, Google announced that WearOS 4 update would offer various new accessibility updates to the WearOS-booth smartwatch. Let’s know what these new accessibility updates are capable of.

WearOS 4 will bring new text-to-speech experience

Firstly, let us tell you, as Samsung’s upcoming One UI Watch 5 software will be based on Google’s latest WearOS 4, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 devices will also be amazed by WearOS 4’s novelties. As per Google’s official post last week, at Google I/O 2023 Event, they highlighted all the bigger updates that are making their way to the WearOS 4 platform and this new smartwatch OS-booted smartwatches. 

The Big G shared that they have recently launched two new modes for its WearOS platform. These new modes are Sound Mode and Display Mode, which will help to improve watch customization. The Mountain View giant Google also shared that in the soon-to-be-launched WearOS 4, they will include a new text-to-speech experience, which will be even faster and more reliable than the previous WearOS versions.

Samsung One UI Watch 5 Skin: When will it arrive?

Informatively, neither Google nor Samsung has talked about the launch date of their upcoming OS or UI versions so far. But, it is expected that the new WearOS will arrive in the second half of this year. As for Samsung’s One UI Watch 5 software, its Beta update is said to be launched anytime now (in May). Besides, the stable One UI Watch 5 will make its debut on the market with the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series

The aforementioned Galaxy Watch 6 series is reported to be launched in the second Galaxy Unpacked Event of this year, which will be held for the unveiling of the next-gen Galaxy Z foldable devices. It is rumored that Samsung will hold this event on July 26th, 2023, in Samsung’s home country South Korea (specifically in Seoul). In other words, the One UI Watch 5 software will also be unveiled on the same date (July 26th).
