Samsung updates Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the home country

Samsung has started rolling out a June 2023 security patch with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone; initially, the company served the update to US-based devices, but now the company has expanded it to other countries, like now, Korean users are started getting the update.

The June 2023 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting updated with version numbers F936NKSU2CWE6 and F721NKSU2CWE6, respectively. Moreover, June 2023 brings over 60 fixes of security vulnerabilities for improving the security of the device.

According to the official changelog, the update also includes some improvements in the Emergency SOS; the countdown function can be turned on or off. A stabilization code related to terminal operation has been applied, and new Google security patches have been applied.

Apart from these, the update also includes new versions of some apps, including Galaxy wearable, Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Health, SmartThings, Samsung Internet, Samsung Members, Samsung Pay, Samsung TV Plus, and Smart Switch.

Moreover, the update is part of Monthly maintenance; the update will be available to all eligible devices; the company has already updated several devices, including Galaxy S22Galaxy S20Galaxy Note 20 series devices, and many more.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are the latest foldable devices; this year, Samsung will update the foldable device lineup with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. It is confirmed that the company will introduce them in the upcoming Unpacked event in South Korea. Additionally, there are also some rumors on the internet claiming that this time, Samsung may also organize separate events in the US and Canada.
