Galaxy S20, A53, and A52 5G get 2nd update of June 2023 includes revised Terms & Conditions in the USA

Last month, the Korean tech giant rolled out the June 2023 security patch update with the usual changelog for several Galaxy S20, A53 5G, and Galaxy A52 5G devices. In the first update, there is no mention of any feature or improvement, but being the security patch, it comes with some security-related enhancements.

Now with the new development, Samsung has rolled out a second update for Galaxy S20 5G Series (including S20+, S20 Ultra), Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A52 5G in the United States. The update is expected to contain some improvements that ensure the overall. Additionally, the changelog also says that it will change the terms and conditions of the device with the installation.

Samsung ended software support for these Galaxy smartphones

The latest update brings June 2023 security patch that is already available in the previous build. The latest firmware available with version number G98*USQU5HWF5 for carrier-locked by T-Mobile & Sprint Galaxy S20 Series, the Galaxy A53 5G (Locked Xfinity Mobile, Comcast, Spectrum Mobile) comes with build number A536USQU6CWF1. The Galaxy A52 5G’s T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Sprint units receive the update on A526USQU9EWF2.

The update described above is available in the US for selected carrier-locked models. To update your device all you have to do is go to the system settings, following the path “Settings > Software Update > Download and Install“.
