Samsung updates Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A53 5G to June 2023 patch in the US

The June 2023 security update is now live for two more Galaxy devices in the US, including Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. However, both devices have already received the update in some countries, and to cover the remaining countries, Samsung is continuously expanding it.

The latest security update doesn’t bring any innovation for the Galaxy devices. For your information, the update is pretty similar in every Android device, but Samsung makes it unique by adding some more fixes which are exclusively available for Galaxy devices.

According to official documentation, This time, Samsung has added 11 extra fixes for the Galaxy devices. In detail, these fixes resolve issues in several functions, including Exynos baseband, Knox ID validation CC Mode and many more. With these fixes, the company has improved the security of the devices.

The June 2023 update for Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A53 is available for the unlocked variants. Users can identify the latest update by the firmware version G781U1UESBGWE1 and A536U1UES6CWE4, respectively, as the update is available for the unlocked variants, so it may take time to reach every carrier but is expected to be available in the next few days.

The Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A53 both enjoy monthly security updates because both are the high-end phone of the respective segment. Samsung has promised to give five years of security support to the devices and some major updates as well.
