The first half of August has already been over, and this time Samsung is late in distributing the security patch to its Galaxy devices. Notably, the new update brings the August 2023 patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in Latin American countries. It is worth noticing that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were spotted getting the update in three countries, including Chile, Guatemala, and Panama. It will be identified by the firmware version numbers F936BXXS4CWG6 and F721BXXS4CWG8, respectively.

Moreover, the update may improve some functions of the devices that will enhance performance and stability, so if you want to get a smooth experience with your device, you should update it to the latest version.

Currently, the update is live in the above-mentioned countries and is expected to be available in more Latin American countries, so to check and install the latest update on your Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 devices, you can go to the software update option via system settings.
