Published

The limited edition Galaxy Watch model that Samsung unveiled this time, however, is pretty distinctive, and it can only be purchased in selected nations. The first ever limited-edition Galaxy Watch created by Samsung specifically for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) area is the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition. A compass on the dial pays homage to the antiquated instrument while also evoking an astrolabe through its design and software features. The astrolabe was chosen as a symbol of the area’s history of innovative and scientific accomplishments, particularly in the fields of time, astronomy, and mathematics.

An astrolabe is an astronomical tool for measuring the altitude of the sun or stars as well as addressing other astronomical and navigational issues. The solar tracker honors the sun’s key place in the astrolabe’s observations of astronomy by stimulating the sun’s daily journey starting from sunrise to sunset. The movements of the sun and moon can be monitored by the users from their wrists. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition is only offered in a 47 mm size, which includes a black Astro bezel, an extra fabric strap, and Astro Edition collectibles. Also, access to Samsung’s VIP promotional store is granted.

The watch intensifies inspiration from the ancient tool while fusing historical accuracy and contemporary elegance with the integration of cutting-edge technology that shows time, direction, and solar and lunar phases. The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, and Morocco are some of the MENA territories where the special edition of the smartwatch will be sold. Interested people can order the gadget from the Samsung online shop, and the company states that local branches will announce the price and availability.

Omar Saheb, Regional Marketing Director at Samsung MENA, shared, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition is a testament and tribute to the Middle East’s innovators and their historical prominence in the fields of mathematics, science, and innovation, while simultaneously setting the stage for the region’s future pioneers.”

We are just two weeks away from the highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked Event, which will be hosted in Paris on July 10. Finally, ahead of the launch of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3 at the event, a new report revealed detailed images of all three of them.

Samsung is all set to expand its smart wearable ways by debuting a bunch of next-generation wearable products, including the Galaxy Buds 3, the Galaxy Watch 7, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Now a tipster named Evan Blass shared images that reveal more new details about these devices. However, this time, the design seems quite impressive.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra appears in a dark gray design coupled with an orange color band; this format of the design seems quite similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. This time, the brand dropped its traditional spring-loaded connector for the Galaxy Watch Ultra and will use a new band connector system that matches Apple’s. Noticeably, the button housed on the underbody of the smartwatch hints that the release is similar to that of the Cupertino brand.

The upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 appears in Olive Green, Silver, and Gold color options in the image, with a design that’s essentially similar to its predecessor, even the spring-pin strap connector. The tipster also shared images of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro true wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Buds 3 appear to have an open design, the same as Apple’s base AirPods. Whereas the Pro model has the usual silicone ear cushions.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and the upcoming Galaxy Buds appear in the blue and orange color options. Samsung will launch these products at the launch event, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring.

Samsung One UI 6 Watch to Feature New Energy Score Functionality

Published

By

Samsung will expand the AI-powered tools for its wearable smartwatches with the One UI 6 Watch software version. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch will boost health features based on AI with the One UI 6 Watch

A key feature is the Energy Score, which provides personalized health recommendations based on your overall energy levels.

To develop the Energy Score feature, Samsung Research collaborated with Professor Patrick O’Connor from the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia, USA.

Energy is closely related to everyday efficiency and fatigue and is based on imperfectly understood neural circuit activity in the brain. However, measuring the exact energy levels is quite difficult since it involves complex brain activity.

Now, to bring a solution to this complexity, Samsung is collaborating with a sleep and exercise company to introduce a facility named “Overall Capacity.”

This Energy Score feature will be beneficial for regular exercise and can boost overall capacity, potentially permitting you to maintain higher energy levels even with challenging workouts.

Once this feature arrives on your wearable device, you can calculate your energy score based on your sleep and activity levels. To achieve this, Samsung Research combined its energy score model with optimization AI and generative AI technologies.

The health guidance provided offers you an easy-to-understand view of their current energy score and science-based suggestions to manage appropriate levels of activity and rest for the day. By paying more attention to the factors that affect their daily energy score, users can go on to improve their lifestyle habits.

Professor O’Connor conducted extensive research in collaboration with Samsung developers, attempting to enhance the reliability and validity of the Energy Score. He also explained that “from a scientific perspective, the Energy Score reflects predicted variation in the ability to perform brief cognitive tests of attention across the day based on objective information obtained from smart device sensors during the past week.”
