Samsung One UI 6 Devices: Who’s In and Who’s Out for Android 14

Whenever new One UI software is about to come, apart from its serving, the information regarding its eligible and ineligible devices is the second most crucial thing that people want to know desperately.

Samsung has been working on a new update called One UI 6.0 and Android 14 for a while now. But it was just a few weeks ago that they started letting people try it out. They released the first test versions in Germany, South Korea, and the United States. These versions aren’t perfect yet; they’re still being tested. Soon, they’ll also offer the update in China, India, Poland, and the UK with the second test version of One UI 6.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is the first phone that can get this new update. Over time, they’ll make it available for more phones and tablets until they’ve updated all the eligible ones to the latest Android version.

One UI 6 Makes It Easier to Understand Storage Usage

Even though Samsung is really good at updating their phones, sometimes they have to stop updating older models so they can focus on the newer ones. Unfortunately, when the new version comes out, some popular phones like the Galaxy S20 won’t get updates anymore.

The upcoming UI will consist of some Android 14 novelties as well, as this OS version will be the base of Samsung’s newer UI. Now, let’s know which Galaxy devices are eligible to get this update and which are not. The information is listed below.

To be noted, Samsung’s One UI 6.0 will reach all Galaxy devices that are eligible to receive major OS updates even after receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5 update. All such Galaxy devices are listed below.

It goes without saying that all those Galaxy devices, for which the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update was the last and final major OS update, are not eligible to get this upcoming premium software novelty. However, some of them will still be receiving firmware updates, but that too not last for too long. All such devices are listed below.

Nota bene, this list isn’t officially confirmed yet, but it may be highly appropriate as it has been prepared by looking at Samsung’s latest Update Policy.
